Roy William Arasmith, 74, of Jewell, Kansas, died on Dec. 7, 2024, after an extended battle with cancer.
He was born on May 19, 1950, in Beloit, Kansas, to Kenneth Lyle and Noma (Knowlton) Arasmith.
Roy grew up on the family farm southwest of Jewell. He attended the Prairie Plain country school (District 24) for five years until it closed, then attended Jewell Grade School and Jewell High School, graduating with the Class of 1968.
