The Salem Lutheran Church served Christmas dinner at the Vestey Center. They have been serving the public Christmas dinner for more than 35 years. Members of the Salem Lutheran Church congregation served Christmas dinner for the public at the Vestey Center in Superior. Serving more than a 150 people this year, kept everyone busy. Turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and all the fixings, ensured no one left hungry. At times people played the piano, while others told jokes and got to know one another.
The Christmas meal was open to everyone. Especially, those who might need some company, and enjoy the camaraderie of this special event. All were thankful for the generosity and hard work provided by others for them.
