New Years Eve was a hit because Steve Trout, a local performer, sang and played renditions of different songs and arrangements at the Nelson American Legion.
Many attended the American Legion new Year's Eve celebration in Nelson. Several people brought prepared dishes and deserts for all to enjoy throughout the evening. Bill Riley graciously served everyone and kept the evening delightful. People told stories and conversed with one another as the evening went along, joy and laughter filled the air. Theresa Walton showed off her newly made dress for the occasion, and Steve Trout sang and performed to everyone's delight throughout the evening.
