The Hawley family monument was one of stops during the Tour of the Tombstones at the Burr Oak Cemetery Saturday. Dr. Joseph Hawley was one of the town's true "movers and shakers." Gloria Garman-Schlaefli conducted visitors around the site as she narrated the history of the deceased. The tour was part of the Burr Oak:150 Years on the White Rock Festival.
