The Lawrence Country Club held a Two Person Scramble on July 14, for all those golfers meeting the requirement of being more than 50 years of age. It appears the Nebraska Rod and Custom Association’s 2024 Tour Nebraska will be passing through Superior twice on Saturday, June 1. More than 400 vehicles, all 30 years old or older, are expected to participate in the 500 mile, two-day cruise. The Mankato Chamber of Commerce March monthly meeting was last Wednesday, at the Buffalo Roam Steakhouse. Eleven members were present. President Jason Ortman called the meeting to order. According to Tami Sharp, Nuckolls County treasurer, the delinquent taxpayer’s list that appeared in The Nuckolls County Locomotive-Gazette on Feb. 8, 15 and 22 and in The Superior Express on Feb. 22 means that those taxes are up for sale.
