IMPROVEMENT . . . Sometimes judging how much a team improves over a season is a tough job to do. Even in running events such as a cross country event, differences in the course lay-out can make a significant difference. However, when everyone on the team cuts seconds to minutes off their times, a person can be pretty sure everyone is getting better. And then, to have three team members earn a medal and the team place second in the conference meet, you know everyone has worked hard and has improved over the season.
