Lowell Tuma purchased the home at 250 W, 1 St. in Nelson in August of 2019 as a way to blow off steam from his stressful work life. It was a way to take his mind off of work and the fact he was so far away from his family in Kansas City. He moved back to Nebraska in order to be close to his parents. Over the last few years working on the structure has become a labor of love.
