Avery Ostdiek stands by Ryan Bass, vice-president and director NASP/IBO 3D - International Bowhunting Organization. Ostdiek was one of the four Lawrence-Nelson students who traveled to Louisville, Ky., for National Archery competition. Ostdiek competed in four shoots total, NASP Target, NASP/IBO 3D, Centershot Target and Centershot IBO 3D. Improving her scores with each shoot. She received third place in the Centershot IBO 3D with a score of 265/300. In this event there was a total of 94 elementary girls and out of these girls 53 of them were fifth grade students. This advances Ostdiek to shoot at NASP/IBO‚ World in Louisville, Ky., and NASP/IBO Outdoor World 3D Challenge in Pennsylvania.
