Around 4 p.m., Monday, members of the Superior Volunteer Fire Department responded to a grass fire, five miles north and two miles west of Superior. Superior used five trucks and stopped the fire before it jumped the highway. Above, members move in on foot to stomp out hot spots along the U.S. Highway 136 west right-of-way.
