The Superior High School boys basketball team closed out their regular season schedule with a 79-50 loss to Sutton at Superior Friday. They were eliminated from subdistrict play with a 55-31 loss to Hastings St. Cecilia at Adams Central High School, Hastings Monday.

Superior led Sutton 18-14 after the first quarter. The Mustangs took the lead with a 22 point second quarter. Superior never mustered the offense needed to come back while Sutton put up 28 points in the third quarter to lead 64-43 going into the final period.
