Patrick and Cassandra Loomis are proud to announce the birth of their daughter, Octavia Violet Loomis. She was born at 11:45 a.m., March 19. She weighed 7 lbs, 3 oz, and was 19 inches long.

Grandparents are Marvin and Kimberly Loomis, Mankato; Bryan and Renee Quillen, Hugoton; and Deanna and Mitch Tackett, Deerfield.

Great-randparents are Alethia Loomis, Mankato; Roger and Linda Zeigler, Mankato; Carol Quillen, Hugoton; and Elissa Collins, Stark.

Aunts and uncles include Brice and Silvia Loomis, Minneapolis; Kevin Loomis, Salina; Lynn and Luke Wagner, Fredonia; Autumn Loomis, Mankato; Kelsey Quillen, Lincoln, Neb.; and Kiara Quillen, Hays.

As a Corinavirus (COVID-19) precaution, no visitors were allowed in the hospital,just Patrick. Kimberly Loomis, Deanna Tackett and Kiara Quillen were the only visitors to meet Octavia at their home in Hays. They have shared pictures with the rest of the family and cannot wait until it is safe to share Octavia with the rest of her huge family!
