Coronavirus Food Assistance Program

 


The Coronavirus Food Assistance Program (CFAP) program signup ends Aug. 28. CFAP covers price losses from Jan. 15 to May 14. It does not cover HRW wheat, grass, or alfalfa.

Crops covered are 2019 carryover crops of corn, milo and soybeans and some feed crops that the farmer still had ownership of as of Jan. 15, and never had a price contract.

It covers livestock sold between Jan 15 and April 15, plus the highest inventory of livestock between April 16 and May 14, if there is no price contract involved.

The quickest way to apply and get information is to go to: farmers.gov/cfap

Complete the online worksheet, select the “Print the AD-3114” button, sign in box 39A, date in 39C. If signing as an agent or officer, list agent, president, trustee, etc. in box 39B. Send the signed form to FSA. (Scan and email, fax, mail or drop box (please, no pictures of the form). When completing the worksheet, put in the total share of bushels or livestock in all counties, nation-wide. The form may also be completed in person at the FSA office.
