Superior Family Medical Center, Nelson Family Medical Center and Edgar Medical Clinic will be administering flu shots a bit different this year. They have announced three separate dates for drive-thru flu shot clinics at each of the facilities next week. No appointments are required and patients are asked to bring their insurance card if insured. Flu shots are $55 without insurance and cash or check will be accepted only. Nelson – Tuesday, Oct. 6 – 1 to 3p.m.

Route: From the highway, turn west onto 6th Street. Next, turn south (left) onto Wheeler Street. At 8th Street turn west (right). Shots will be administered in front of the old Good Samaritan Center on your right.

Superior – Wednesday, Oct. 7 – 7 to 9 a.m.

Route: From Bloom Street, turn east onto Seventh Street. Turn north onto Converse Street. Turn left (heading west) on Eighth Street and a quick turn right (heading north) on Washington Street. Follow Washington to Tenth Street in front of the hospital. Shots will be administered under the south awning of the hospital. Guides will be placed along the route to help with traffic.

Edgar – Friday, Oct. 9th – 8 to 10 a.m.

Shots will be administered at the Edgar City Hall drive-thru.
