Cross County Cougars defeats Wildcats 57 to 42

Superior kicked off the Runza Holiday Tournament at home Tuesday. The Cats faced off with C2 No. 10 Cross County.

From the tip, the Cats had their hands full. Cross County came out with physical play Superior was not willing to match. The lead was 20 at half. "We knew Cross County was going to be physical on both ends of the floor. We just didn't match their physicality," said Coach Chadwell. Offensively Superior struggled from the field again. "The most disappointing stat was our turnovers. We have been taking care of the ball as of late, but failed to do that tonight having 19 turnovers...
