New score board for SHS gymnasium

Along with a newly installed floor, the Superior High School gymnasium will feature a state-of-the-art video score board. The main video board, located on the northwest wall, is 11'9" wide by 6'10" tall. It is more than a scoreboard though. The board will feature in-game highlights, instant replays as well as student created content.

The board will be connected to the gymnasium sound system. The control panel boasts a HDMI connection which allows computers to connect to the board for video slide shows. The board will be operated by video production students in Sara Fuller's classes. The board features several versions of editing and graphic creation software.

The board also features slots for nine advertisers, There are six 26" by 23" and three 62" by 23" panels available for five-year commitments.

The video scorers table will continue to carry advertisements for the Superior Red Caps.

The video board will be utilized at events such as graduation, FFA banquet, the athletic banquet, Honor's Night and other occasions.

The board will feature a topper with the Superior name and Wildcat logos.

A secondary scoreboard, located on the northeast wall, will display event scoring and a time clock.

The new board will ready for use when the gymnasium reopens after the new floor installation.
