The Lawrence-Nelson High School golf team competed at the Superior Invitational Thursday at the Superior Country Club. The Raiders team finished with a score of 418, tied for eighth place.. The Raiders played at Clay Center's Crooked Creek Country Club Tuesday with results unavailable at press time.

The 18-hole match featured teams from Heartland, Sutton, Superior, Thayer Central, Fillmore Central, Fairbury, Deshler, Sandy Creek, Centennial, Blue Hill, the Hastings High School junior varsity squad, Bruning-Davenport-Shickley and Red Cloud.
