Esbon: What a wild time! Sam's Fest is an annual fundraiser held to accommodate expenses to run the business. The event took off on Saturday. Motorcycles and other vehicles gathered at 9 a.m. to register for the poker run. Many people participated! Several other communities helped host the event such as Pinky's in Courtland, Scoops, Lovewell Marina and Outdoor Memories, all of which donated for the live auction. The event lasted most of the day and ended back at Sam's where yard games, a live auction, DJ, live music and fish fry were waiting. In total there were 52 entries. Pictures of the event were provided by Niki Scheidt and Lisa Peroutek.
