New stylist now in Lawrence

September 2, 2021

Lawrence has a new hairdresser, Peg Presnell, who is now booth renting at KD's Salon on the main street. Peg grew up in Lawrence and, after beauty school, owned The Cutting Cove before moving to Omaha and taking her talents with her. Peg enjoys her job, and in fact, doesn't think of it as a job. She likes every aspect of cosmetology and is looking to learn more and improve upon her skills.

Peg met her husband while working in Grand Island. After they were married, they moved to Omaha and started their family. When the decision was made to move back to Lawrence, Peg transitioned her clients to new stylists before the move.

Her business, Hair by Peg, offers a variety of beauty needs, from the standard cut and color to manicures, pedicures, hair extensions and even the now popular balayage and ombre hair color techniques. Peg is certified in many of the services she provides. She is open weekdays with evening hours on Tuesday and Thursday. She is also willing to take Saturday appointments.

Peg has worked in the industry for many years and is looking forward to continuing in the profession while enjoying the benefits of small-town living and friendly faces.

Peg Presnell, Lawrence native and graduate of Lawrence High School, recently moved home and has opened up shop at KD's Salon and Floral in Lawrence. Peg has been working in the beauty industry since after high school and is ready to start building her business, Hair by Peg, right here in Nuckolls County. With their two boys raised and tired of the hustle and bustle of the city, Peg and her husband decided Lawrence would be a better fit. Peg has years of experience and is looking forward to assisting you with all your beauty needs.
