The Red Cross Blood Mobile arrived in Nelson Friday for another great day. Although the drive came up a few pints short, 57 units were collected which will help save as many as 170 patients in need. Some donors had a prolonged wait because of the shortage of Red Cross staff.

Several donors reached their personal milestones.Carol Buschkoetter has now given her 12th gallon. Pastor Ethan Feistner has reached his seven-gallon mark.
