It was a tough season opener for the Rock Hills High School boys basketball team. They fell to Pike Valley 49-17 at Scandia Friday. It was also the first game of the T-Bird Invitational Tournament. Clifton-Clyde downed Rock Hills, 82-13 at Mankato last Tuesday. Wakefield downed Rock HIlls 46-28, Saturday, at Cloud County Community College in Concordia. The Grizzlies finished in sixth place in the tournament.

The Grizzlies travel to Beloit, Tuesday, for a game with St. John’s-Tipton.
