The Lawrence-Nelson High School girls basketball team cruised by the Rock Hills Grizzlies, 54-35, last Tuesday at Nelson. The Kenesaw Blue Devils downed the Raiders, 48-32, at Kenesaw, Friday. The Axtell Wildcats handed Lawrence-Nelson a narrow 33-28 loss, at Nelson, Saturday. The Raiders played Deshler, at Deshler, Tuesday, with game results unavailable at press time. Individual game statistics were unavailable at press time.

Kenesaw ran out to a 25-11 lead at the half and never looked back on their way to a 48-32 win.

The Raiders trailed Axtell 14-8 after the second quarter. The Raiders clawed their way to within four points, 23-19, at the end of the third quarter. They were unable to close the gap and lost 33-28.

The Raiders travel to Odell, Thursday for a game with Diller-Odell. Parkview Christian comes to Nelson Friday for a game. Lawrence-Nelson goes to Blue Hill for a game Tuesday.
