SHS wrestlers take first place at Superior Invite

The Superior High School wrestling team hosted the Superior Invitational at Superior High School, Friday.
The Wildcats took first place honors with 153 points. Other teams competing at the event were Smith Center, Conestoga, Hastings Junior Varsity, Sutton, Hays-Thomas More Prep-Marian, Meridian, Phillipsburg, Southern and the Fairbury Junior Varsity.
The girls teams which competed were Adams Central, Conestoga, Southwest, Red Cloud-Blue Hill, Overton, Harvard and Superior.
The Superior boys team featured Cole Rughe placing third in the 106 pound weight bracket. Holden MacDonald earned 20 team...
