All alone . . . Keaton Mazour finds himself all alone in the middle of Superior defenders last week. Keaton had four rebounds, two steals and one assist in the game.

It was a tough two outings for the Lawrence-Nelson Raiders. They fell to Diller-Odell, 53-52, at Odell, Thursday. They hosted the Superior Wildcats, Friday, at Nelson. Superior came away with a 47-40 win leaving the Raiders with a 9-11 record with one game remaining in the regular season. They visited Deshler, Tuesday, for the final game of their regular season schedule. Superior hosted Sutton in their regular season game Tuesday. Results for both games were unavailable at press time.

Dane Miller led the Superior offense against Lawrence-Nelson with 12 points. Ashton Grassman and Seth Schnakenberg each dropped through 11 points. Tanner Theis lit up the board for 10 points. Jacob Meyer scored three points Schnakenberg cleared 10 rebounds from the boards for Superior. Theis and Miller landed six rebounds apiece. Grassman held on to five Meyer nabbed two rebounds. Taygun Rothchild had one rebound.


Krayton Kucera led Lawrence-Nelson with 14 points against Superior.

The schedules and opponents for subdistrict play have been released by the NSAA. However, the game locations were unavailable.

Superior, the number four seed in subdistrict C-2-9 will play Alma, the number five seed, in a play-in game, Monday. The winner of the game will face number one seed Hastings St. Cecilia on Tuesday.

Lawrence-Nelson is the number one seed in subdistrict D-2-3. They will play the winner of Monday's play-in game between Deshler and Harvard. The final game of both sub-district rounds will be played on Thursday, Feb 24.
