RHHS boys split a pair of games

It was feast or famine for the Rock Hills boys basketball team in their past two games. The Grizzlies downed Southern Cloud 57-44 at Mankato last Tuesday. The Thunder Ridge Longhorns stampeded the Grizzlies 53-9 at Mankato Friday. Rock Hills completed their regular season schedule, Tuesday, when they hosted Osborne at Mankato. Game results were unavailable at press time.

Ethan Kenworthy netted 20 points to lead the Rock Hills offense against Southern Cloud. Cooper McDill dropped through 19 points. Wyatt Evert netted eight points. Troy Duskie posted six points. Eli Vance scored four points.

Kenworthy and McDill registered three points apiece against Thunder Ridge. Evert put up two points. Cesar Ortiz scored one point.

Rock Hills travels to Clyde today (Thursday) for their opening round game against Lincoln in 1A-D1 sub-state first round play at Clifton-Clyde High School.
