Dorothy Buescher Funeral March 5

The funeral was held Saturday, March 5, 2022 at the Sacred Heart parish church for Dorothy L. Buescher, lifelong area resident of the Lawrence area. Dorothy was born Sept. 15, 1927 and died Feb. 25, 2022.

The service was started with a Rosary led by Mrs. Vernon Himmelberg. The Mass of Christian Burial was concelebrated by Pastor, Reverend Corey Harrison, Rev. Bernie Kimminau and Rev. Michael McCabe.

Assisting with the service were: Deacon Duane Karman Lector; the Reading were given Dorothy’s sons: Gary, Doug and Scott Buescher. Servers were: Darren Kathman, Alexander Buescher and Blake Meyer. Carolyn Mazour was the organist and Carla Kohmetscher and Peggy Faimon were song leaders.

Honorary pallbearers were Dorothy’s children: Craig Buescher, Dale Buescher, Dean Buescher, Nancy Wagner, Gary Buescher, Doug Buescher and Scott Buescher.

Several eulogies from friends and family were given after services.

Inurnment was in the Sacred Heart parish cemetery east of Lawrence.
