Bradley Allen Small, 66, died Saturday March 19, at his home in Red Cloud. His funeral will be July 16, in Papillon. Burial to follow.

Brad was born Dec. 5, 1955, in Red Cloud to Dale and Dorothy (Hartman) Small. He graduated from Red Cloud High School in 1975 and attended Central Community College in Hastings for auto body repair. He owned his own body shop before starting his own trucking business. He was a truck driver for 25 years before retiring in 2015.

Brad was proceeded in death by a son, Brent; his parents; and father-in-law, Don Bird.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Theresa (Bird) Small; daughter, Mrs. Jeff Conley (Melinda) of New Port Richie, Fla.; son, Brandon of Missouri Valley, Iowa; son, Brady of Papillon, Neb.; brother, Vernon Small of

Loveland, Colo.; sister, Cheryl Brenn of Windsor, Colo.; brother, Randy Small of Loveland, Colo.; sister, Brenda Small of Windsor, Colo.; brother, Curtis Small of Riverdale, Neb.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
