Frahm returns to medical center with new service

Psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner added to Brodstone

Brodstone Healthcare added Teresa Frahm, psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP), to their team. Frahm will provide mental health services which will include diagnosing psychiatric illnesses, educating patients and families, prescribing treatment plans including medications, leading psychotherapy sessions and coordinating services for patients across the lifespan.

"I am excited to be back in my home community and look forward to providing care to those in need of mental health services," said Frahm.

Frahm graduated from Creighton University in 1993 with a bachelor's of science in nursing. In 2005, she graduated from UNMC with a master's in nursing and became board certified as a family nurse practitioner. During her years of nursing and family practice, she witnessed the impact of mental illness on patients and their families. Her passion for mental health inspired her to further her education in the field and she received her post graduate certification in psychiatric mental health in 2021.
