Emma Epley, a May 2022 graduate of Lawrence-Nelson School, has been selected as a recipient of an Order of Eastern Star Scholarship in the amount of $500. The Davenport Chapter 268 OES and the Nebraska Grand Chapter share in providing the funds for this scholarship.

Miss Epley is the daughter of Ethan and Dana Epley of Superior and plans to attend the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in the fall in pre-dental to obtain a degree in dental hygiene. Emma has been involved in Future Business Leaders of American, FFA and HOSA and Student Council serving as an officer in each organization. She has been a member of the volleyball, basketball and track teams also playing softball as a summer participant. Emma's selection was based on community involvement, good citizenship as well as scholastic achievement.

The Davenport Chapter is providing this scholarship in cooperation with the Grand Chapter of Nebraska, Order of the Eastern Star.
