The Southern Nebraska Conference track and field meet scheduled for Saturday at Fairbury High School was rescheduled for Tuesday. Adverse weather conditions caused the change. Meet results were unavailable at press time.

The Wildcats compete at the Sutton Invitational today (Thursday).

For the first time in many years, Superior will host the District C-7 track and field meet at the Wildcat Community Track Thursday, May 12. Student athletes from Doniphan-Trumbull, Fillmore Central, Hastings St. Cecilia, Sandy Creek, Southern, Sutton, Thayer Central, Tri County, Wilber-Clatonia and Superior will attempt to qualify for a place at the state meet being held at Harry A. Burke High School, Omaha, May 20-21. Additional bleacher seating is being brought in for influx of spectators for the meet. The concession stand will be well stocked. Area residents can expect increased traffic on the day of the meet.
