Solomon Valley Transportation, Inc. (SVT) is recognizing National Transportation Week May 15 through 21, and confirmed the receipt of an award of the U.S.C. 49-5311 grant application for general public transportation. Annually, SVT applies for funding from the Kansas Department of Transportation and the Federal Transit Administration. The applications have been approved two vehicles will be replaced.

Solomon Valley Transportation provides services to the general public

in Jewell, Mitchell, and Osborne counties. Trips include but are not limited to medical and day to day needs. Solomon Valley Transportation requests a 24-hour notice when scheduling a local trip and at least a 48-hour notice when scheduling an out of county trip.

The suggested donation for a trip within the county is $1.50 each direction. The suggested donation for a trip outside the county is $4.00 each direction.
