A special meeting of the Rock Hills Board of Education was held June 23. Those present were Kenny Mizner, Brenden Wirth, Wayne Frost, Marc Grout, Brandon Hollerich, Bobi Fogo, Rex Boley, Sam Meyers, Cassi Bozarth and Janet Higer.

After a discussion concerning end of the year matters, the board authorized the superintendent and the board clerk to make the necessary transfers to close out the current fiscal year ending June 30, 2022.

Mr. Boley visited with the board concerning the facility study. After a lengthy discussion, it was agreed that Mr. Boley would set up a meeting in mid-July with the board, the Community Facility Study committee, and HTK and McCown Gordon.

After executive sessions, the board approved a 3 percent pay increase to classified staff and principals.

The next regular meeting of the USD No. 107 board of education will be Monday, July 11, in the board room of the district office.
