President Kenny Mizner called the June 10 special meeting of the Rock Hills Board of Education to order. Those present were Kenny Mizner, Marc Grout, Brandon Hollerich, Wayne Frost, Bobi Fogo, Brenden Wirth, Rex Boley, and Janet Higer.

Jeremy McGuire, BCBS insurance representative, went over the premium changes to the district’s grandfathered BCBS plan in depth and answered questions from the board. He also presented another option for the board’s consideration.

Supt. Boley reported he had spent some time with Zach Sneathan and the team for the facility study. He updated the board on alternative HVAC options, for the high school, to possibly cut costs.
