Terry Beale, 66, long time resident of Woodson, Texas, died Wednesday, July 20, 2022, in Woodson.

Terry was born Sept. 30, 1955, in Red Cloud, Neb., to Jay Beale and Barbara Carpenter Beale. As a child, he would help his family farm and ranch. He married the love of his life, Linda Darlene Platt, on Oct. 3, 1984, in Jacksboro. Terry worked in the oilfield and as a truck driver for many years. He was an active member of the Woodson Volunteer Fire Department. Terry was also a member and president of the Outlaw Bike Club.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Jay and Barbara Beale; his wife, Linda Beale; one brother and one sister.

Terry is survived by his son, Michael, his wife, Meagan, and Kennedy; his daughter, Carrie and her children, Olivia, Tucker, Preslee and Evie; his sister, Sue Foster; his brother, Brad Beale; and an abundance of family and friends.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the Woodson Volunteer Fire Department or to Morehart Mortuary for funeral expenses and may be left at Morehart Mortuary.
