The Mankato City Pool will be hosting a back-to-school swim party on Saturday. The last day of swimming will be Sunday.

The city pool was lucky this year to have been fully staffed. With a small upset of the original pool manager leaving early in the year, they were still able to keep up with operation. Roger Meier served as pool manager while another one was being sought. Aundrea Gardner took up the reins soon after.

This year was a hot year that allowed the pool to have a good operation throughout the summer.
