Neb. State Fair honors Andersons, Caldwells

Two Webster County families are Grand Marshals

Roy and Rosemary Anderson watching the 2022 Webster County Fair Beef show with their great-grandson, Tate. Roy and Rosemary Anderson will be honored on Saturday, September 3 at 10:00 am at a special ceremony at Nebraska Hall and then for the public at the parade at 2:00 p.m.

The tradition of the Nebraska State Fair Grand Marshal Program is an opportunity to thank the folks who have made significant contributions to their county fair or ag society. To salute those whom have served, individuals are selected to be Grand Marshal of each daily Nebraska State Fair Parade. These individuals are nominated and then selected on their merits and of course for what they have done for their own county fair, ag society or the youth of their county. Those chosen as Grand Marshals are recognized for an entire day of the Nebraska State Fair. They participate in the daily parade...
