Last Tuesday afternoon at 2:34 p.m. the Jewell County Sheriff’s office was notified a body had been found at Lovewell Lake’s White Rock Creek Campground. Sheriff Jacobs and a deputy responded to the call and requested help from Kansas Bureau of Investigation.
Investigators do not believe foul play was involved and requested an autopsy be performed.
The officers are now waiting for the autopsy results as they continue to investigate.
