Roan Jarosik carried his impressive regular season performances into the District C-4 meet run over the Elks Country Club course at Hastings Thursday.

Jarosik, a sophomore, took second place and earned a trip to the state championship for his effort. His time was 17:21.94. Sean Heaton took 51st place with his time of 20:34.07.

The state meet is being run over the Kearney Country Club Course Friday. The Class C race has a 12:30 p.m. gun time.
