It’s almost Halloween and a number of special activities are planned around the date.

This afternoon the Superior Chamber of Commerce will hold Pumpkins in the Park from 5 to 6 p.m. While primarily designed to entertain the youngsters, all ages are invited to participate and the Superior Auditorium Committee will be serving a meal in the park. The annual event is held in City Park.

The Superior VFW will hold a Halloween Dance on Saturday night.

The Living Faith Fellowship Church will hold what is being called the Fall Harvest Festival at the Superior Auditorium from 6:30 to 8:30 Monday. The event will include a concession stand, and a variety of games. While the festival is a longtime favorite, new this year will be three games from RockIT Event Pros. The games are the cone race, foam ace throwing and home run baseball.

Festival concessions will be open to the public from 5 to 6:15 p.m. with no admission charge. After 6:15 there will be an admission charge.
