The Jewell County Historical Society sponsored a tour of museums in Jewell County, Saturday. This was the stop at the Burr Oak Museum where Gloria Schlaefli, Burr Oak museum board member, gave a guided tour. The group toured the museums in Northbranch, Burr Oak, the former Jewell County Jail and the Palmer Museum in Jewell.
The Jewell County Saddle Club meeting was held Sunday at the Superior High School library. The group decided prizes for the Jewell County Fair horse show and the open horse show. The open horse show will be June 3, 2023.
Officers were elected. They are Faith Reinert, president; Haley Fuller ,
vice president; Griffen Dunstan, treasurer; Emmit Dunstan, secretary; and Harlee Harris, reporter.
The group toured the Cowboy Museum in Superior. The next meeting will be held Jan. 15, 2023.
