The Rock Hills High School volleyball team closed out their season with a two set, 23-25 and 12-25, loss to Clifton-Clyde, at Clyde Saturday, in 1A-D1 sub-state play. The loss ended the season for the Grizzlies. They split a pair of matches at the Lincoln triangular last Tuesday. They downed Wilson 14-25, 26-24 and 25-14. They lost to Lincoln in two sets, 11-25 and 12-25.
The Grizzlies ended the season with a 12-19 record against tough competition.
The Clifton-Clyde match was the final career event for seniors Danica Frost, Haley Garst, Sustyn Groote, Selena Luong, Isabel Navarro, Aubree Whelchel and Lauren Whelchel. Their leadership and drive will be missed.
