The Superior Airport Authority held their monthly meeting at the airport, Monday.

Work is nearing completion on the latest infrastructure project at the airport.

The new concrete parking lot is now in use. The driveway to the airport office from Highway 14 is now concrete. Features to be added include lighting and grass seeding.

The next improvement project on the agenda for the airport is major renovation work on the paved runway and taxiway.

There are numerous concrete panels needing repair or replacement seams of all the panels will be sealed as well as new striping on the taxiway and runway.

No date has been set for the project to begin. A consultancy agreement was signed with Olsson Engineering for the project.
