The Nelson Community Club and the Elk Creek Country Club hosted dinner and entertainment Friday evening at the Nelson Auditorium. Steak, cheesy potatoes and green beans were served. The Elk Creek Country Club prepared the meal and hosted the bar.
Entertainment for the evening was provided by sponsors of the Community Club. Fun Pianos from the Loup City area entertained the crowd after dinner. Dueling pianos is a form of entertainment, usually on stage with two grand pianos, each played by a professional player who sings and entertains. Humor and audience participation are prevalent.
