The Jewell City Council met Monday, Oct. 3, at City Hall. Those in attendance were council members Josh Burks, Max Burks, Gaye Daniels, Bob Freeman, Derek Birdsell and city clerk Kristie Anderson.

Sheriff Don Jacobs was present and reported a resident’s shed was broken into a while back. Jacobs said they had two new deputies.

James Reed, code enforcement officer, presented the monthly report. Reed continues to work with property owners to abate nuisances.
