Violet Wilma (Lang) Ferebee, 94, the daughter of William H. and Emma (Tonns) Lang, was born Aug. 31, 1928, on a farm in Nuckolls County, near Nelson. She died Nov. 12, 2022, at the home of her daughter near Fremont.

Violet attended Grand Prairie country school and graduated from the Nelson High School with the Class of 1945. After graduation from high school, she taught at District 84 country school in Nuckolls County for three years.
