Wayne “Tank” Marget, 74, died Saturday, Dec. 10, at Webster County Community Hospital.

Wayne was born May 25, 1948, at York, to George Marget and Lota (Robinson) Marget. He graduated from Red Cloud High School in 1967 and enlisted in the Air Force in October of that same year. Wayne was proud of his years of service in the military and received an honorable discharge in 1971.

Until his retirement in 2010, Wayne was employed at Johnson Concrete selling concrete cattle tanks to feed yards. Prior to that he was a feed salesman and elevator manager. In addition to being a member of the VF...
