The Lawrence-Nelson girls basketball team fell to the Bruning-Davenport-Shickley Eagles, 49-25, at Nelson last Saturday, Dec. 10. The Raiders downed Friend 52-39, at Nelson, Friday to improve to 2-3 for the season.
Kara Menke put up nine points to lead the Raiders against B-D-S. Katelyn Mazour produced five points. Emily Troudt put up four points. Sydney Biltoft added three points. Hanna Skinner and Jessica Sole scored two points each. Menke grabbed eight rebounds. Troudt snagged six rebounds. Skinner collected four points. Mazour and Sole nabbed three rebounds apiece. Josie Hajny added two rebounds. Biltoft had a rebound.
Statistics for the Friend game were unavailable at press time.
The Raiders return to the court Thursday, Dec. 29, at the Hershey Holiday Tournament.
