Jewell County crew patching Z Road to Webber

The Jewell County Commissioners met Dec. 5.

Amanda Davis, register of deeds, said she has issues with the postal machine and asked questions about the usage. She requested the postage machine be moved to another office as she doesn’t want to be responsible for it any longer.

The commissioners approved to sign the Extension to Maintenance and Support Agreement #006278-00 for the Live Scan Fingerprint Machine with Idemia.

Joel Elkins, general superintendent, discussed maintenance. He said they are patching Z Road to Webber.

Shannon Meier, ambulance director, telephoned to discuss the quotes for selling the 2010 Dodge Ambulance. Commissioners accepted the $20,000 bid from Elite Ambulance for the purchase of the 2010 Dodge ambulance.

Cindy Becker discussed changing office hours for providing vaccinations from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to Noon on Friday.
