Community Center to get new flooring

The Jewell City Council met last Tuesday at City Hall. Those in attendance were Darrell Bohnert, mayor; Council members, Josh Burks, Derek Birdsell and Bob Freeman and Kristie Anderson, city clerk.

Don Jacobs, the Jewell County sheriff, said there were no new updates for the month.

James Reed, code enforcement officer, was present and said he talked to residents about parking semi trucks on non-truck route roads.

Kristie Anderson presented the monthly clerk’s report. Anderson mentioned getting a cabinet for maintenance folders. She said the community center is getting new flooring this month....
