Paul E. Buresh, son of James J. and Mildred I. (Holmquist) Buresh was born Nov. 29, 1942, near Oak, Nebraska. He died on Jan. 9, 2023, at Brodstone Healthcare in Superior, Nebraska, at the age of 80 years, 1 month and 11 days.

Paul attended school in Oak through the eighth grade and graduated from Nelson High School in 1961. After high school, he worked for the railroad until enlisting in the US Army. After serving from 1964 to 66, stationed in Germany, Paul returned to Nebraska to begin work for Urbauer Furniture in Davenport.
