Hearkening back to its early days when rich melodies, beautiful lyrics and swingin’ big band sounds once swelled and filled the grand, historic hall…the newly re-dedicated Superior Auditorium is preparing the room, once more, for a Supper Club setting, hosting ‘In the Mood for Love,’ a musical Night of Dinner and Jazz!

As the sun goes down, the ambience is set and the auditorium doors open, the audience will be welcomed and served a candlelight dinner and dessert, professionally prepared and catered locally.

Following dinner and dessert, the Superior Auditorium will welcome to its stage, The Kearney Jazz Society and their featured vocalist. The Jazz Quintet will feature John Kosch (piano), Dave Klein (acoustic bass), Chris Stelling (alto saxophone), Nathan LeFeber (trombone), Jami Fristo (drums) and Vickie Nielsen (vocalist).

Tickets will not be sold at the door. Advance ticket sales deadline is Feb. 11.) The event is Saturday, Feb. 18.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with dinner and dessert served at 6 p.m.

Entertainment begins at 7 p.m. There will be a 15 minute intermission.
